Shadow of Intent returns to France for a one-off show on September 28, 2026, at La Machine du Moulin Rouge. Born from the Hartford scene, the symphonic deathcore band fronted by Ben Duerr and Chris Wiseman blends death metal, black metal, orchestral flourishes and melodic passages. After Primordial, Reclaimer, Melancholy and Elegy, the group went on tour alongside Lorna Shore, Whitechapel and Cannibal Corpse. Their 2025 album, Imperium Delirium, self-produced, broadens their palette further and delves into themes where myth and dark realities intersect.
Supporting them, Aborted deliver their razor‑sharp brutal death, alternating deathgrind bursts and massive riffs, led by Sven de Caluwé. Americans Disembodied Tyrant bring a direct, relentless deathcore onslaught. And Sweden’s Soreption open with a precise, metronomic and incisive tech‑death. A bill that spans several branches of extreme metal, promising a dense, uncompromising evening.
