Whitechapel brings its 20th Anniversary Tour to History, Toronto on November 24, 2026. Formed in Knoxville in 2006, the band forged a deathcore identity around a three‑guitar wall and Phil Bozeman’s vocals, from the raw charge of The Somatic Defilement and This Is Exile to more structured records like A New Era of Corruption and the self‑titled album. Over time they folded in groove and wider dynamics on Our Endless War and Mark of the Blade, then opened to darker atmospheres and occasional clean vocals on The Valley and Kin. This anniversary run looks back across that path, balancing early, hard‑edged cuts with the newer, moodier material.
Supporting: Chelsea Grin, the Salt Lake City outfit built on dense, syncopated riffs and breakdowns, from Desolation of Eden through Suffer in Hell and Suffer in Heaven; The Acacia Strain, blending metalcore and deathcore with a doom and sludge undertow, from Coma Witch to the 2023 pairing Step Into the Light and Failure Will Follow; and Carcosa rounding out the lineup.
