Angelmaker

Based in North Vancouver, Canada, AngelMaker has established itself in the modern deathcore scene with a dual-vocalist lineup that strongly defines its sonic identity. Active since the early 2010s, the band first gained attention with self-released material distributed online before cementing its approach on its debut full-length, Dissentient (2015), where tightly syncopated riffs, melodic death metal influences, and more atmospheric passages intersect. The group continued along this path on AngelMaker (2019), sharpening the contrasts between rhythmic ferocity, more intricate guitar harmonies, and vocals alternating between deep growls and piercing screams, and then on Sanctum (2022), which extends that evolution with more structured songwriting while remaining rooted in hard-hitting deathcore. Primarily active on North American and European stages, AngelMaker tours alongside other extreme acts in the metalcore and deathcore spheres and relies on a strong presence across social media and streaming platforms to promote its releases. AngelMaker’s universe draws on a bleak, fatalistic imagery reflected both in the lyrics and in the visual aesthetics of its artwork and videos.
