Chelsea Grin

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Chelsea Grin formed in 2007 and established itself on the American deathcore scene with a very dense approach, marked by choppy riffs, massive breakdowns and extreme vocals, at times incorporating doom, black metal, symphonic or electronic touches depending on the period. After a self-titled EP released in 2008, Chelsea Grin followed with Desolation of Eden (2010), My Damnation (2011) and the EP Evolve (2012), which signaled a more technical direction. The band continued with Ashes to Ashes (2014), Self Inflicted (2016) and Eternal Nightmare (2018), before releasing Suffer in Hell in 2022 and Suffer in Heaven in 2023. Chelsea Grin has toured extensively across North America and Europe, often alongside metal and deathcore acts such as Emmure, Attila and Motionless in White, and also teamed up with Phil Bozeman of Whitechapel on the track 'All Hail the Fallen King'. Marked by numerous lineup changes for many years, Chelsea Grin saw original vocalist Alex Koehler leave in 2018, replaced by Tom Barber. Since 2018 no founding member remains in Chelsea Grin, while bassist David Flinn is the only musician to appear on all their studio albums.
