Info
Spiritbox land at Nottingham Arena in Nottingham, United Kingdom on 14 September 2026. Formed in 2017 by vocalist Courtney LaPlante and guitarist Mike Stringer, the Canadian outfit folds metalcore, progressive metal and a shadowy alternative rock into one frame. Technical riffs, ethereal layers and a sharp switch between clean vocals and screams shape a set built on contrasts. Eternal Blue (2021) set the tone, with the Rotoscope (2022) and The Fear of Fear (2023) EPs pushing their hybrid sound toward detailed production, heavy syncopation and melodic refrains with introspective undertones.
Jinjer, from Donetsk and now Kyiv, bring a groove-forward and progressive strain of metal that pivots between tight djent-inflected riffs, quick meter shifts and the clear/growl range of singer Tatiana Shmayluk. From Cloud Factory (2014) and King of Everything (2016) to Macro (2019) and Wallflowers (2021), the quartet has honed a darker, precision-driven writing where the rhythm section leads the charge.
Opening, Portland’s Dying Wish channels the 2000s metalcore lineage with fast, jagged riffs, heavy breaks and flashes of melody under Emma Boster’s dominant scream. Fragments of a Bitter Memory (2021) mapped themes of trauma and power dynamics; Symptoms of Survival (2023) tightened the melodic edge while keeping a direct, hardcore-rooted impact.
