Info
On July 15, 2027, Sam Fender brings his Proper Massive Stadium Tour ’27 to Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, in a set built for big rooms without losing the grit of his songwriting. Expect that mix of bright, nervy guitars, taut rhythms and those wide-open choruses that made Hypersonic Missiles and Seventeen Going Under hit hard, plus newer cuts from People Watching. Fender’s voice stays proudly North East, and the lyrics keep their feet on the ground: youth, family knots, mental health, and the everyday politics of modern England, delivered with the urgency of a rock show that still feels personal.
Wunderhorse opens the night, pushing their guitar-led alternative rock with a tension that nods to indie, grunge and garage. Formed around Jacob Slater’s songs, the band has built its reputation on direct, efficient tracks from Cub and the sharper, broader-textured Midas, made for volume and a crowd that wants riffs and momentum more than polish.
