Amble

Located on the Irish folk scene, Amble has developed since the early 2020s an acoustic approach centred on voices and guitars, sitting between contemporary folk, indie folk and intimate songwriting. The Amble project was initially built online with a series of tracks released on streaming platforms, and has gradually established itself live in small venues and spaces dedicated to independent music in Ireland. Amble’s songs rely on prominent vocal harmonies, stripped‑down arrangements and generally moderate tempos, leaving space for lyrics that address relationships, vulnerability and everyday life in a direct language. Musically, Amble favours simple song structures, sing‑along/choral melodies and a warm aesthetic that remains close to folk tradition while belonging to a newer generation of acoustic artists. This combination places Amble in an accessible register, suited both to intimate listening and to lightweight live formats.
