Gracie Abrams
Born in Los Angeles in 1999, Gracie Abrams has been crafting intimate pop since 2019 at the intersection of folk-pop, indie pop and bedroom pop, with direct songwriting and often spare arrangements. After the single “Mean It,” she emerged with the EP Minor in 2020, propelled notably by “I Miss You, I’m Sorry,” and continued in that vein with This Is What It Feels Like in 2021, where guitars, piano and hushed production accompany songs built like fragments of a diary. Her career quickly moved onto stages, with her own tours as well as opening slots for Olivia Rodrigo on the Sour Tour in 2022 and for Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour between 2023 and 2024. Gracie Abrams then released Good Riddance in 2023, her first album that extends this introspective register, followed by The Secret of Us in 2024, a more melodically open record that includes “us.” in collaboration with Taylor Swift. She also appears alongside Noah Kahan on a new version of “Everywhere, Everything.” Across these releases, Gracie Abrams has established a restrained, melancholic and precise style in which pop remains closely linked to a folk sensibility.
