On 20 November 2026 in Liverpool, Fontaines D.C. bring their Dublin-bred post-punk to the stage with the band’s mix of abrasive guitars, tight rhythmic pressure and that unmistakable literary edge. Since breaking through with Dogrel, they’ve kept stretching the frame: A Hero’s Death slowed things down and leaned into a more bruised mood, while Skinty Fia opened the sound up into darker, wider territories, flirting with shoegaze haze and noise-rock weight. Their more recent material continues that move toward airier textures and less rigid song structures, without losing the bite that makes their live shows hit hard.
Opening the night, Belfast duo Chalk plug post-punk into a more electronic current: taut, club-leaning rhythms, saturated guitars and a chant-like vocal delivery that nods to spoken-word and cold-wave. It’s physical, driven, and built for momentum—an ideal way to set the room up before Fontaines D.C. take over.
