Florence Road
Florence Road is an indie quartet formed in Bray, County Wicklow, by Lily Aron, Emma Brandon, Ailbhe Barry and Hannah Kelly — four childhood friends who turn their bond into a sound that blends electric tension, embraced vulnerability and indie‑rock melodies with grunge and alt‑pop inflections. Fronted by Lily Aron's charisma, the band made an immediate impact with their earliest tracks thanks to raw songwriting that tackles anxiety, the contradictions of early adulthood and unfiltered emotion. In 2025 Florence Road released Fall Back, a debut mixtape that crystallizes their identity: a balance of softness and abrasive flashes, fuelled by singles already noticed such as “Heavy” and “Caterpillar” and a series of viral videos that strengthened their burgeoning aura. Praised by NME, Rolling Stone and Clash, the group has established itself as one of the new prominent faces of the European indie scene, combining stage intensity and melodic sensitivity with rare ease.
