Fronted by Jack Leavey's voice, Basht. brings together a Dublin‑based rock quintet: Sam Duffy and Rossa Healy on guitars, Louis Christle on bass and Luke O’Neill on drums. The band operates in a vein between alternative rock and guitar‑driven indie rock. Basht. crafts songs in which melodic vocal lines confront saturated textures and taut rhythms, with songwriting that blends direct energy and introspective tones. Built around a busy live schedule, they move through clubs and mid‑size venues in Ireland and the UK before taking dates across Europe, and have notably opened for Wunderhorse, Been Stellar and the Goo Goo Dolls. This live presence has earned them spots on festival bills such as Electric Picnic, All Together Now and Supersonic’s Block Party in Paris. On record, a debut EP titled Dirty White Lies established the band's aesthetic; in 2025 the release of Bitter & Twisted on Lab Records sees Basht. refine a guitar‑centred sound focused on dynamic contrasts and a melodic approach that remains at the heart of their rock identity.
