After a “return to their roots” concert at Desertfest London this weekend, and following the announcement of their fourth studio album, Necropolitan (set for release on 11 September 2026), Green Lung have announced a UK and European tour this winter: the Dance to the Grave Tour MMXXVI, with High On Fire as special guests and Gnome as the opening act. The band will play the Bataclan in Paris on 14 December.
Green Lung emerged from the London heavy rock scene with a self-produced debut EP, "Free the Witch" (2018). Drawing on British influences — from doom-laden hard rock to pastoral prog, via psychedelia and NWOBHM-style Hammer Horror theatrics — the band has established itself on the British metal scene. Their lyrics celebrate Britain’s folklore, myths and legends.
