Loïc Nottet

Born in Charleroi and raised in Courcelles, Belgium, Loïc Nottet first develops a close relationship with dance before making himself known as a singer and songwriter from 2014 in The Voice Belgium. A few months later, he represents Belgium at Eurovision 2015 with Rhythm Inside, a song he co-writes and which establishes his universe between pop, synthpop and a tense melodic writing, with a marked taste for dark atmospheres, highly crafted choruses and the choreographic dimension. This emphasis on movement then runs through his live performances, as does his appearance on Danse avec les Stars in France in the same year. Loïc Nottet releases his first album, Selfocracy, in 2017, followed by Sillygomania in 2020, then Addictocrate in 2023, where he broadens his palette by alternating English and French. Over the releases, his repertoire blends electronic pop, dramatic ballads, synthetic textures and more direct songs, without breaking with a visually very worked aesthetic. Loïc Nottet has also written or shared tracks with other artists, notably Laura Tesoro, and he composes a substantial portion of his own repertoire. Present on Belgian and French stages, he has built since his beginnings a career at the crossroads of pop song, performance and image.
