Nuit Incolore
Nuit Incolore, the stage name of Théo Marclay, was born in 2001 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and grew up in Fully, Valais, in a family connected to music. Trained on piano from childhood, he developed a personal project during the 2020 lockdown, writing introspective texts at night which he set to his own music and visuals. Nuit Incolore fits within a melancholic francophone pop, nourished by piano, subtle electronic arrangements and a lyricism focused on malaise, identity and intimate vulnerabilities. After several EPs released between 2020 and 2021, he gave his universe greater structure with Histoire de Nuit and Histoire de Nuit 2 in 2022—two projects conceived as musical narratives—followed by the EP Insomnia in 2023 and the album La loi du papillon the same year. Signed to Cinq7 in 2021, Nuit Incolore moved quickly from social media to the stage, appearing at Japan Expo and giving his first Paris concert at Les Étoiles in October 2022, before touring Switzerland, France and Belgium in 2023. He has also broadened his repertoire through collaborations with Younss, Kyo, Loïc Nottet and Tsew The Kid, while maintaining a dark, narrative aesthetic tightly centered on voice and text.
