Lisa Pariente
Initially active on YouTube, Lisa Pariente has built her career between covers, French translations of anglophone titles and original songwriting, in a style that blends French chanson and pop. A French artist also active as a web video creator, she came to attention in 2019 with her piano version of 'Dance Monkey' translated into French, before developing an original repertoire centred on direct, intimate and often autobiographical lyrics. Her discography begins in 2021 with the singles '1 2 3' and 'Garce', followed by 'À l’envers' (2021), 'Belle' (2022) and 'Chère petite moi' (2023). In 2024 she released the EP 'Antidépresseur', which continues a diary-like mode of writing carried by understated pop arrangements. On stage she started performing from 2021, with dates in Paris and later in other cities such as Lille and Lyon, and she has also opened for artists like Amel Bent and Pierre de Maere. Between digital presence, the song format and a confessional sensibility, Lisa Pariente develops francophone pop focused on the words and on direct address.
