Paul Kalkbrenner

Born in 1977 in Leipzig, Paul Kalkbrenner is a German DJ and producer. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, he threw himself into the techno scene. In 2001, he released his debut album 'Superimpose' on the BPitch Control label. His third album, 'Self', released in 2004, marked the beginning of musical changes; Kalkbrenner began to conceptualize his albums, giving them a genuine narrative through-line. In 2008, he mixed the soundtrack for the film 'Berlin Calling', again on the BPitch Control label, and also played the lead role. His career took off. With his celebrated track 'Sky and Sand' in tow, the DJ performed at numerous club nights and European festivals. In 2012, 'Guten Tag' was released, and Paul Kalkbrenner performed in France at events such as the BPitch Control Party and the Vieilles Charrues Festival.
