Worakls

Trained on the piano from childhood, Worakls, whose real name is Kevin Rodrigues, was born in 1988 in Paris and has developed an electronic writing strongly marked by classical heritage. Active since the late 2000s, he made his mark on the European scene with EPs and remixes that blend melodic techno, progressive house and electronica with cinematic contours. In the mid‑2010s he co‑founded the Paris label Hungry Music with N’to and Joachim Pastor, a structure that promotes an electronic aesthetic centered on harmonies, progressive builds and orchestral textures. His first studio album, "Orchestra" (2019), formalized this work of crossing electronic compositions with arrangements for ensemble and gave rise to the stage project Worakls Orchestra, conceived for both contemporary music venues and festivals. In concert, Worakls favors sets built around long melodic progressions, often performed live and sometimes accompanied by classical musicians. Alongside his activities within Hungry Music, he occasionally composes music for image and continues a discography of singles, EPs and collaborations within the French and international electronic scene.
