Monkey Safari

Born in Halle an der Saale, Germany, the project Monkey Safari brings together brothers Sven and Lars Fröhlich, active on the electronic scene since the late 2000s. Monkey Safari operates between melodic house, deep house and techno, favouring progressive arrangements, supple basslines, airy textures and a frequent use of vocals integrated into compositions that go beyond a purely functional club format. Initially noticed through a series of maxi releases circulating in European house and techno networks, the duo later shaped their path by launching the Hommage label, used both for their own output and as an extension of their artistic identity. Over the years Monkey Safari has moved toward more melodic and narrative forms without abandoning a dancefloor logic, and has expanded collaborations with singers and producers from the electronic sphere. The project remains associated with club and festival scenes in Germany and across Europe, presenting music whose rhythmic energy relies on clear melodic motifs and warm production.
