Tube & Berger
Formed in Germany around Arndt Rörig and Marko Vidovic, Tube & Berger have evolved since the early 2000s in a house and tech-house register at the crossroads of club energy, catchy melodic lines, and production designed for the dancefloor. The duo first played in a punk context before turning to electronic music, a shift noticeable in their taste for direct structures and tracks built on rhythmic impact. Tube & Berger drew international attention with 'Straight Ahead' in 2003, recorded with Chrissie Hynde, and then followed with releases that circulated widely on European house scenes, among them 'Lovebreak' in 2012, 'Come On Now (Set It Off)' with Juliet Sikora in 2013 and 'Imprint of Pleasure' the same year. Their activity is also part of Kittball Records, a label founded in 2005 and run with Juliet Sikora, which supports a substantial portion of their career. On stage, Tube & Berger have performed in numerous club and festival circuits in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australia. In long-form terms, the duo released the album Introlution in 2007 and then We Are All Stars in 2017, continuing a trajectory centered on a soft, warm house tuned for mixing as well as listening.
