Oliver Koletzki

Born in Braunschweig in 1974, Oliver Koletzki established himself as a German producer and DJ within electronic music, navigating between house, techno and more melodic forms of club music. After early hip‑hop experiments on a C64 and his first sets in Braunschweig’s local scene, he moved to Berlin in 2000 to focus fully on production, progressively moving toward house and techno. The track Der Mückenschwarm, released in 2005 on Cocoon Recordings, was a turning point for Koletzki: it was widely played by international DJs and noted in specialist media, opening the door to international bookings and releases on various labels. In the same year he founded Stil vor Talent in Berlin, initially to release his own maxis and later as a platform for young producers; his first album Get Wasted appeared there in 2007. Subsequent releases include Großstadtmärchen (2009), the vocal project Lovestoned with Fran (2010), Großstadtmärchen 2 (2012), I am O.K. (2014), The Arc of Tension (2017), Fire In The Jungle (2019), Made of Wood (2021) and Trip to Sanity (2023). His writing favors accessible structures, melodic synth lines and a dancefloor-oriented rhythmic approach, often extended on stage with his live band The Koletzkis. Alongside Stil vor Talent, Koletzki launched the label Light My Fire in 2012, primarily dedicated to club EPs.
