Joachim Pastor

French producer and DJ Joachim Pastor crafts melodic electronic music at the crossroads of techno, house and electronica. Trained at the Conservatoire de Versailles, he grounds his work in a broad musical culture, which he translates in the studio through careful attention to harmonies, melodic themes and texture variation. Based in France, he first attracted attention in the early 2010s with a series of maxis and remixes, then helped found the label Hungry Music alongside Worakls and N’to — a platform around which numerous releases and joint tours have been organised. Joachim Pastor’s productions are characterised by progressive constructions, clearly defined synth lines, vocals often treated as a textural element, and the occasional incorporation of acoustic instruments within a club-oriented framework. In 2021 he released the album "Greater Message", which brings this approach — between melodic techno, electronica and electronic pop — into a long‑form format. Regularly appearing on club and festival stages in France and across Europe, he delivers sets focused on his own compositions, alternating atmospheric passages with sequences more directly aimed at the dancefloor.
