NTO

A producer and DJ from Marseille, NTO develops melodic techno focused on progressive buildups, expansive bass lines and harmonic themes close to instrumental pop. Initially active on the southern French club scene, he soon turned to composition and refined a sound positioned between techno, electronica and minimalist influences. In the mid-2010s he co-founded the label Hungry Music with Worakls and Joachim Pastor, which became the main platform for his releases and tours, moving between contemporary music venues and festivals in France and then across Europe. His tracks often unfold over long durations, with a marked emphasis on dynamic variation and synthetic textures, as exemplified by pieces such as “Trauma” or “Petit matin.” After several scene-oriented EPs he released the EP Invisible and, in 2021, his first studio album Apnea, where his music shifts toward more detailed arrangements and occasional vocal collaborations. NTO primarily performs as an electronic live act, adapting his compositions to extended formats designed for the dancefloor.
