On March 16, 2027 at La Machine du Moulin Rouge, Moonspell lands in Paris with a date conceived as a milestone in its history: 35 years spent shaping a dark metal sound, between black-metal roots, Gothic breath, and atmospheric soundscapes. Around Fernando Ribeiro, the band has always known how to make heavy riffs, keyboards and catchy melodies coexist, veering toward more industrial or experimental turns across the eras. On stage, the idea remains the same: to establish a dense atmosphere, to work the contrasts and to bring to life this chiaroscuro that has marked albums such as Wolfheart, Irreligious, or, more recently, Hermitage.
As the opening act, Iotunn brings its progressive and narrative vision, with long-form tracks, accelerations of melodic death metal and choruses that reach far. The trio is completed by TodoMal, a Spanish project that leans on doom-laden heaviness and expansive atmospheres, perfect for opening the evening at slower tempos and with mounting tension.
