Info

On March 6, 2027, at La Machine du Moulin Rouge, Draconian, Saturnus and Ann My Guard bring together three ways of exploring the dark side of rock and metal.

Draconian, born in Säffle in the mid-1990s, moves along a doom/death and gothic metal line: slow tempos, thick guitars, understated keyboards and a contrast between a rough male voice and a clear female singing. From their early albums Where Lovers Mourn and Arcane Rain Fell to Under a Godless Veil, the band has honed expansive tracks where weight and melody respond to one another. On stage, these tensions sustain long, immersive compositions.

Formed in Copenhagen, Saturnus has developed since Paradise Belongs to You a melodic doom marked by melancholic guitars and a vocal delivery that alternates deep growls, a low-register timbre and spoken passages. Around Thomas A. G. Jensen, The Storm Within (2023) continues to work on dynamics, between introspective lulls and massive climaxes. In concert, the band stretches time and handles ruptures with care.

Led by singer-songwriter Eszter Anna Baumann, Ann My Guard has shifted from metal toward a more stripped-down terrain with She of the Sea and Stars (2025), a semi-acoustic record that draws on darkwave, gothic rock and dark pop influences. On stage, the project moves between reinterpretations and new songs, between immediate emotion and age-old imagery.
