Info
Mika brings his kaleidoscopic pop to Cardiff Castle on 12 June 2026. Lebanese-born and London-raised, the singer and pianist cut his teeth at the Royal College of Music before breaking through with Grace Kelly in 2006. Life in a Cartoon Motion followed, opening a run of records that shaped his piano-led, hook-heavy sound: The Boy Who Knew Too Much, then The Origin of Love. On stage, he drives songs with elastic vocals, stacked harmonies and sharp melodies that lean into classic pop while keeping a bright, contemporary edge.
Sharing the bill, The Feeling return to their guitar-and-piano pop roots, formed in Sussex around Dan Gillespie Sells with Richard Jones, Kevin and Ciaran Jeremiah, and Paul Stewart. First noticed with Twelve Stops and Home in 2006, the band kept refining their melodic craft on Join with Us and Together We Were Made, then Boy Cried Wolf, the self-titled The Feeling, Loss. Hope. Love., and San Vito. Their songwriting favors clean arrangements, vocal blends and choruses built to stick, bridging soft rock and power pop with a distinctly British sensibility.
At Cardiff Castle in Cardiff, expect a setlist that moves from mid-2000s favorites to recent tracks, all driven by pianos, harmonies and unfussy, melodic songwriting.
