Info
On 4 December 2026 at Cardiff International Arena in Cardiff, Ocean Colour Scene bring three decades of British guitar craft back on stage. Formed in Birmingham in 1989, the group moved from early baggy roots to a leaner rock sound fed by britpop, blues rock and a streak of English soul. Around Simon Fowler, Steve Cradock and Oscar Harrison, their songs balance melodic choruses, crisp guitars and a clear mod touch. Milestones like Moseley Shoals, Marchin’ Already and One from the Modern shaped their identity and still anchor their sets. Links with Paul Weller and a mid-90s tour with Oasis helped open doors, but the band has stayed the course since, writing concise, no-frills tunes and touring the UK.
The Enemy join from Coventry with the trio’s tight, street-level indie rock. Tom Clarke, Andy Hopkins and Liam Watts cut their teeth on short, urgent songs that mix alternative rock bite with punk economy and everyday storytelling. From We’ll Live and Die in These Towns through It’s Automatic, their four albums map a decade of sharp hooks and straight-ahead guitars. After a pause in 2016 and a reunion from 2022, they’re back on festival and arena stages with the same direct, guitar-first focus.
