ENSEMBLE !!! arrives at La Laiterie in Strasbourg on 31 October 2026 for a shared bill where reggae, chanson and rap mingle. The idea: to bring together voices that have shaped these scenes and have them converse live, without artifice.
On the reggae and chanson side, Tryo brings acoustic guitars, harmonies and a repertoire that has grown on the road since the 1990s. Riké, a leading figure of Sinsemilia, offers the counterpoint with more intimate songwriting and pared-down arrangements, somewhere between direct chanson and reggae influences. Together they create a warm, organic setting, conducive to sing-along choruses and spontaneous exchanges.
The bill also opens up to rap. Guizmo, from L’Entourage, arrives with direct lyricism, boom-bap instrumentals and a raw sense of storytelling, touching on everyday life, friendships and introspection. MIKE, the New York rapper, brings lo-fi loops and a measured flow — somewhere between dusty jazz and confessions in half-light. Two complementary approaches that anchor the show in the present.
On stage, ENSEMBLE !!! functions like a meeting: emblematic songs, improvised crossovers and impromptu guest spots. An evening conceived for the live experience, one that crosses aesthetics without setting them against each other and that privileges the collective.
