Luther

Active on the French rap scene since the late 2010s, Luther has developed an artistic universe where rap intersects with trap and more diffuse electronic textures. His writing is often inward-looking, and his tracks are built around dark or floating moods. Luther began releasing music in 2018, first on SoundCloud, before shaping his discography with Trame in 2020, a debut album that established the foundations of his aesthetic. In 2022 the EP Garçon broadened his audience and confirmed a more focused approach based on supple flows, airy productions, and a direct relationship to melody without leaving the confines of rap. With EXIT in 2024 he extended this trajectory, consolidating a denser, more coherent album format. Luther belongs to a generation of artists emerging from the internet and independent circuits, while maintaining a deliberately low public profile, limited media exposure and communication pared down to essentials — factors that accompany the restrained, taut singularity of his musical project.
