Tryo

Formed in 1995, Tryo is a French music group that brings together Manu, Guizmo and Christophe Mali. Previously, Manu Eveno and Guizmo played together in the band M’Panada. One year after forming, Tryo began performing concerts in the Paris region and in various parts of France such as Vendée and Brittany. It was at that time that the trio was joined by Daniel Bravo. After releasing a six-track cassette, Tryo issued their first record in 1998 entitled “Mamagubida” on Yelen Musiques. The record met with considerable success from the press and the public, and some tracks received radio airplay. Through concerts, tours and festival appearances, Tryo built a strong reputation on the French and European music scene. In 2000 their second album “Faut qu’ils s’activent…” was released, followed three years later by the album “Grain de sable”. After an extended run of concerts at the Cabaret Sauvage, Tryo released a double live album. The group carried on, and Christophe Mali recorded a solo album in 2006, “Je vous emmène”. After four years without a studio album, Tryo returned in 2008 with “Ce que l’on sème”, followed four years later by “Ladilafé”. Since its inception, Tryo has established itself as a notable figure in French chanson, both in the studio and on stage.
