Charlotte Cardin

Emerging from Montreal’s music scene, Charlotte Cardin has carved a path that weaves together pop, soul, and jazz inflections, driven by intimate songwriting and a commanding vocal presence. Born in 1994 in Montreal, she gained recognition in the early 2010s through the TV show La Voix, before focusing on composing her own material in both English and French. Her debut EP, Big Boy, arrived in 2016, establishing a world of stripped-back ballads, electronic touches, and nocturnal atmospheres, followed in 2017 by the EP Main Girl. She then released the album Phoenix in 2021—where modern pop, RnB rhythms, and the legacy of chanson intersect—and 99 Nights in 2023, defined by a more direct, live-oriented approach. Active across Canadian, European, and North American stages, she alternates concert halls and festivals, often in a lean setup centered on voice, piano, and synthetic arrangements, while continuing to write about intimate relationships, doubt, and self-exposure.
