Zélie
Born in Lille in 2001 and now based in Paris, Zélie crafts French-language pop with urban hues, drawing on French chanson, pop, and rap. Initially trained in contemporary dance at the Conservatoire régional de Paris, she turned to songwriting as a teenager after discovering the ukulele and the francophone pop scene, then began sharing covers and original songs on social media, where her videos quickly attracted attention — notably around Dominique A and Jok’Air. Enrolled in Cours Florent’s music program, Zélie was noticed by the Low Wood label, with which she developed her singer-songwriter project. In 2023 she released her first EP, Zélie, c’est quoi, which addresses nostalgia and the codes of the music world through intimate pop. The 2024 album Un million de petits chocs deepened this introspective thread with lyrics focused on emotions, anxiety, and relationships, and features collaborations with Jok’Air and Mauvaise Bouche. Zélie went on to record several duets — notably with Baptiste Ventadour on "L’autoroute" and with Myra on "Mode d’emploi" — and performed her songs live during a first tour in France, at festivals such as Grand Unisson, and on dates in Vietnam in partnership with the Institut français du Vietnam. In 2025 she announced a second album, Le cœur et sa dictature, and a concert at the Olympia scheduled for December 2026.
