Stavroz

In Belgium, Stavroz took shape in the early 2010s around a collective approach to electronic music, conceived as much for live performance as for the club. The project developed a language that sits between melodic house, downtempo and gentle techno, with supple rhythms, deep bass and organic textures that leave a visible role for played instruments. After a series of EPs released over the decade, Stavroz issued the album Mindibu in 2018, a significant milestone in the group's evolution and in the affirmation of a broader aesthetic built on the progression of tracks rather than immediate impact. This way of working established Stavroz on the European electronic scene, in contexts ranging from clubs to festivals and hybrid live formats. Throughout its trajectory, Stavroz has maintained a precise, atmospheric writing style where the energy of dance remains linked to a search for nuance, winding melodies and airy arrangements.
