Oliver Schories

German producer and DJ Oliver Schories, based in Hamburg, is part of the European electronic scene with an approach focused on melodic house at the intersection of techno and deep house. He began to attract attention in the late 2000s with a series of maxi singles and remixes, before releasing albums and compilations throughout the 2010s that established an aesthetic of long progressions, supple basslines and repetitive synthetic motifs. His output alternates between club-oriented tracks and more contemplative pieces, often built around recurring melodic themes and evolving structures. Alongside releases on various specialist labels, he developed his own imprint, Soso, which became a framework for his personal productions and those of artists close to his musical universe. On stage Oliver Schories mainly performs as a DJ in clubs and at festivals, delivering sets that extend his taste for fluid transitions between house, melodic techno and more atmospheric sounds.
