Info
Hermano arrives at La Maroquinerie in Paris on May 7, 2026. Born in California and fronted by John Garcia (Kyuss), the band includes Dandy Brown on bass, Mike Callahan (Disengage) and David Angstrom (Luna Sol, Supafuzz) on guitars, and Chris Leathers (Supafuzz) on drums. Since the late 1990s, Hermano has proceeded at its own pace, moving between heavy blues and American stoner rock, with infrequent tours and select studio sessions. After appearing in France at the most recent Hellfest, the five-piece returns to the capital in the wake of When the Moon Was High, released in 2024 on Ripple Music. This record, their first in fifteen years, brings together two previously unreleased studio tracks and four live recordings. On stage, Hermano emphasizes the essentials: thick guitars, a compact rhythm section, and Garcia’s immediately recognizable vocal timbre—a hallmark of a sound rooted in the desert scene. It’s an opportunity to see the group again in an intimate Paris venue.
