Info
On November 2, 2026, Editors bring a stripped-back matinee set to Rough Trade East in London, focusing on the new chapter opened by their album Surface, Echo and Sound. Expect the band’s usual tension and atmosphere, just reframed in an acoustic format: songs built on that dark, steady pulse, Tom Smith’s deep vocals pushed to the front, and melodies that can feel sharper when the volume drops.
This performance is announced as a three-member line-up, with Smith joined by Russell Leetch and Elliott Williams. It’s a chance to hear how Editors’ material holds up when the synth sheen and full-band drive step aside, leaving the writing, the dynamics and the mood to do the heavy lifting. A special one-off show for anyone curious about what sits underneath the band’s bigger, more amplified live identity.
