If you’re into that rough-edged crossroads where country twang meets indie rock tension, Westside Cowboy come through London for a special live set and signing at Rough Trade East on 20 August 2026. The UK quartet Reuben Haycocks, James Bradbury, Aoife Anson O’Connell and Paddy Murphy have been shaping their own kind of “Britainicana”: big hooks, wiry guitars, and a band chemistry that stays front and centre rather than smoothing everything out.
This appearance lands around their new album It Goes On (via Island), following the EP So Much Country ’Till We Get There, recorded in New York with producer Loren Humphrey. On stage, their songs lean into that push-pull between folk-country colours and an art-rock bite, built for rooms where the chorus hits but the edges still show.
