Keo
Based in London after an early start in Devon, Keo brings together brothers Finn and Conor Keogh with Oli Spackman and Jimmy Lanwern around a register that crosses alt rock, post-grunge, and melodic tension inherited from the 1990s. The band develops a writing style powered by thick guitars, clean dynamic build-ups, and a voice that links fragility with frontal impact, in an aesthetic that can evoke Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, The Smashing Pumpkins, and a more recent British scene like Wunderhorse or Fontaines D.C. Keo began circulating tracks in the early 2020s and built its presence through a string of singles, including Puta in 2022 and Smile on For Me in 2024, which sketch a dark universe without being hermetic, with a taste for taut choruses and abrasive atmospheres. Active on stage, Keo sits within London's guitar-band circuit while maintaining an identity marked by its English roots and by a direct approach to the rock format, between introspective bursts, rhythmic nervousness, and a search for balance between roughness and legibility.
