McFly bring their pop-rock chops to The Piece Hall in Halifax on 24 June 2026. Formed in London by Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd, the band started out with brisk, melody-first songs on Room on the 3rd Floor, Wonderland and Motion in the Ocean. They later folded in sleeker synth-pop touches on Radio:ACTIVE and Above the Noise, before circling back to a more direct guitar sound with The Lost Songs, Young Dumb Thrills and Power to Play. On scène, ce parcours devient un set qui navigue entre premiers titres attendus et morceaux récents, porté par des harmonies solides et une section rythmique qui garde le tout nerveux, sans surcharge.
Opening the night, Twin Atlantic add a Glasgow edge. Built around Sam McTrusty and Ross McNae, with Joe Lazarus on drums, they push an alternative rock that balance crisp hooks with denser riffs. From Free and Great Divide through GLA to Power and Transparency, their catalogue va droit au but, Meltdown en 2024 resserrant encore le grain des guitares.
