Info
On June 6, 2026, Place Bell, 1950 Rue Claude-Gagné, H7N 0E4 Laval, Canada, hosts a night where punk, grunge and noise collide with Amyl and The Sniffers, L7 and Party Dozen.
Fronted by Amy Taylor, Amyl and The Sniffers sharpen a Melbourne-bred punk rock that leans on 70s pub rock, garage and hints of hardcore. Short, direct songs, sharp vocals and a dense pulse shape their live energy, carried from early EPs Giddy Up and Big Attraction to their albums Amyl and The Sniffers (2019) and Comfort to Me (2021), with a touring habit forged on club and festival stages across Europe and North America.
Formed in Los Angeles in 1985, L7 brings a heavy, straight-ahead blend of punk, hard rock and grunge. With Donita Sparks and Suzi Gardner at the mic and guitars, plus Jennifer Finch and Demetra “Dee” Plakas, the quartet moved through Smell the Magic, Bricks Are Heavy and Hungry for Stink before returning to the road in 2014 and releasing Scatter the Rats in 2019. Their catalogue mixes dark humor, social bite and a clear-cut riff language.
Sydney duo Party Dozen — saxophonist Kirsty Tickle and drummer Jonathan Boulet — pushes a minimal setup into big, repetitive grooves and saturated blasts. The Living Man, Pray for Party Dozen and The Real Work sketch a tense, physical sound, including a standout collaboration with Nick Cave.
