Spiritual Cramp

Spiritual Cramp is a punk band from San Francisco, formed in the mid-2010s around singer Michael Bingham. Quickly recognized for their direct, no-frills approach, the band blends raw energy from Californian punk with influences from post-punk and 1990s alternative music. Their first EP, Mass Hysteria, set the foundation for tense, punchy songwriting, followed by Television in 2018, which attracted attention on the American indie scene. After a string of well-received singles and an increasingly assured live presence, Spiritual Cramp released a self-titled debut album in 2023, praised for its coherence and impact. True to a DIY aesthetic, lyrics rooted in everyday life and a frontal energy, they have become one of the most followed punk acts of the new generation while remaining committed to the community-minded, uncompromising spirit of their beginnings.
