On March 6, 2027, Dropkick Murphys land at L’Olympia in Montreal with that Boston-bred mix of street punk and Irish tradition that made their name. Built around Ken Casey’s gravelly drive and a band setup that happily brings acoustic instruments into the pit, their shows move fast: shout-along choruses, folk melodies that stick, and a working-class edge that never feels like costume. Expect staples from the early punch of Do or Die and The Gang’s All Here to the tighter power of Blackout and The Warrior’s Code, without forgetting the band’s more recent detours into American folk heritage.
Opening the night, San Francisco’s Spiritual Cramp bring a no-frills, front-facing punk set shaped by post-punk tension and 90s alternative bite. Led by Michael Bingham, their songs hit quick and hard, from the early EPs through their 2023 self-titled album, with everyday-life lyrics and a DIY urgency made for live rooms.
