Miles Kane
Born in 1986 in Birkenhead, near Liverpool, Miles Kane emerged in the mid-2000s as the guitarist for The Little Flames and later as the lead singer and principal songwriter of the trio The Rascals, part of Liverpool’s indie scene. In parallel, he co-founded The Last Shadow Puppets with Alex Turner in 2007, a project where he explored orchestral pop influenced by the 1960s. From 2009 he focused on his solo career, oriented toward indie rock with garage, glam and britpop touches, marked by direct riffs and structured melodies. His debut solo album, Colour of the Trap, was released in 2011, followed by Don't Forget Who You Are (2013), Coup de Grace (2018), Change the Show (2022) and One Man Band (2023), each record shifting the balance between electric energy, pop hooks and vintage references. Collaborations with Alex Turner, Jamie T and Lana Del Rey have fed his songwriting while keeping it firmly rooted in the British songwriting tradition. Active on stage with both full bands and pared-down lineups, Miles Kane alternates headlining tours, support slots and appearances at rock festivals in the UK and across Europe.
