Cedric Gervais
Born in Marseille in 1979 as Cédric DePasquale, Cedric Gervais moved to Miami at 18 and built his career within the American house scene from the late 1990s. His style sits between house, dance and electro house, with a direct, club-oriented production that blends rhythmic energy, melodic hooks and efficient formats. After early singles in the early 2000s and steady work as a remixer, he released The Experiment EP in 2005, followed by the albums Experiment (2006) and Miamication (2011). A regular in Miami’s clubs, he also appeared on festival stages such as the Ultra Music Festival, before expanding his profile with “Molly” in 2012 and especially his remix of Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness” in 2013. His subsequent career alternates between original productions, remixes and collaborations — notably with David Guetta and Chris Willis on “Would I Lie to You” in 2016 — and with artists like Howard Jones, Willy William, J Balvin, Tom Staar and Joel Corry. Cedric Gervais has thus forged a trajectory at the crossroads of Miami club culture, mainstream dance and the international festival circuit.
