Sebastian Ingrosso

Born in Stockholm in 1983, Sebastian Ingrosso has been part of the Swedish electronic scene since the late 1990s, operating at the intersection of progressive house and electro house. He released his first remixes in 1999 and founded the label Refune Music in 2003, before collaborating extensively with Axwell, Steve Angello, Eric Prydz and Alesso. His writing blends melodic build-ups, driving rhythms and arrangements crafted for both clubs and large festival stages. Around the turn of the 2010s, Ingrosso became a central figure in Swedish House Mafia, the trio formed with Axwell and Steve Angello, releasing the albums Until One (2010) and Until Now (2012). At the same time he released several tracks under his own name, including Calling (Lose My Mind) with Alesso and Ryan Tedder in 2012, and Reload with Tommy Trash the same year—later issued in a vocal version with John Martin in 2013. After Swedish House Mafia disbanded in 2013, he continued working with Axwell as the duo Axwell Λ Ingrosso, active on festival stages such as Tomorrowland, Ultra and Governors Ball, and released the album More Than You Know in 2017. Since Swedish House Mafia’s reunion in 2018, Sebastian Ingrosso has alternated between collective projects and more occasional releases, including A New Day with Céline Dion in 2025.
