Calvin Harris

Under the name Calvin Harris, Adam Richard Wiles has built a career from Scotland that connects electro‑pop, house and mainstream dance music. Born in Dumfries, he emerged in the mid‑2000s with tracks released online, before debuting with a first phase strongly marked by synthesizers, disco rhythms and his own vocals, documented on I Created Disco (2007). With Ready for the Weekend (2009), then 18 Months (2012) and Motion (2014), Harris shifted his writing toward productions more focused on the club, pop choruses and vocal collaborations, in a style blending electro house, dance‑pop and EDM. This evolution led him to work with artists such as Rihanna, Ellie Goulding and Dua Lipa, while remaining active on major festival stages and in the club residency circuit. From Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 (2017) he explored a more flexible palette, nourished by funk, disco and R&B, continued by Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 (2022). In parallel, in 2020 he launched the Love Regenerator project, oriented toward a rawer house sound and textures close to techno.
