Bleed From Within

Formed in Glasgow, Scotland in the mid‑2000s, Bleed From Within emerged on the British metal scene with a blend of metalcore, groove metal, and melodic death metal influences. The band made a name for itself in local venues before releasing its first albums, Humanity (2009) and Empire (2010), marked by a very direct approach and elements bordering on deathcore. With Uprising (2013), Bleed From Within sharpened its identity, emphasizing groovier structures and more immediate choruses while retaining predominantly extreme vocals. After a quieter spell, the arrival of guitarist Steven Jones solidified the lineup and opened a new creative chapter with Era (2018), where the band further developed guitar melodies and the contrasts between screamed vocals and cleaner passages. Fracture (2020) and then Shrine (2022) carried this evolution forward toward a denser, more atmospheric sound, without abandoning the heavy rhythmic foundation and fast tempos that characterize Bleed From Within. Active on metal tours across Europe and the UK—often opening for established acts such as Lamb of God and Megadeth—Bleed From Within has gradually established itself as a lasting force in modern metal from Glasgow.
