Audrey Hobert

American singer-songwriter born in 1999, Audrey Hobert crafts a lyrics-led pop sound that ranges from intimate ballads to more immediate choruses. From a family already active in audiovisual media—she is the sister of musician Malcolm Todd and the daughter of screenwriter and producer Tim Hobert—she studied at New York University and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She then worked as a production assistant at Warner Bros before becoming a writer on the Nickelodeon series The Really Loud House between 2022 and 2024. At the same time, Hobert moved closer to songwriting alongside her childhood friend Gracie Abrams, whom she met at an elementary school graduation ceremony; they co-wrote several tracks on the 2024 album The Secret of Us, including “That’s So True.” She also directed several videos associated with the project and occasionally accompanied Abrams on stage. A publishing deal with Universal Music Group opened further collaborations, notably “Start All Over” for British singer Alessi Rose, featured on the EP For Your Validation (2025), and led to a partnership with producer Ricky Gourmet. Hobert launched her solo career on May 9, 2025 with the single “Sue Me,” followed by “Bowling Alley” in June, a first headline show, and “Wet Hair” in July. “Wet Hair” preceded the announcement of her debut album Who’s the Clown?, released August 15, 2025 on RCA, which includes other tracks such as “Thirst Trap” and “Sex and The City.” That same year she shared the stage again with Gracie Abrams—most notably at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles for “Mini Bar”—before making her first television appearance on October 20, 2025 on The Tonight Show, continuing to balance songwriting for other artists with developing her own pop catalogue.
