Olivia Rodrigo

Born in Murrieta, California, and raised in Temecula, Olivia Rodrigo began her career as a child actor before establishing herself in music. After her first film role in An American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success (2015), she appeared in the Disney series Bizaardvark from 2016 to 2019 and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series from 2019 to 2022, where she wrote and performed the song “All I Want.” Signed to Geffen in 2020, Rodrigo refocused her trajectory on songwriting and singing with Dan Nigro, developing an aesthetic that blends pop, pop rock, alternative pop, folk-pop and pop-punk. Her writing emphasizes intimate narratives, the tensions of adolescence and the changes of coming of age, often delivered in a direct, melodic, guitar-forward format.
