Erin LeCount
Born in Chelmsford, Essex, Erin LeCount developed an early independent practice of writing, recording and producing, honed at home before her first local acoustic shows. She came to prominence in 2017 when she reached the final of the first season of The Voice Kids UK as part of Danny Jones’s team. She gradually steered her music towards an alternative pop with electronic edges — vocal-centred tracks, synthetic textures and songwriting that blends intimacy, personal transformation and digital imaginaries. Signed to the Good as Gold label, she released the single "Killing Time" in 2022, followed by the EP Soft Skin, Restless Bones in 2023. This period also saw her join the Loud LDN collective and collaborate with Causier on "So Far." In 2024 she appeared on Ben Böhmer’s "Faithless," from the album Bloom. Her move toward a more assertive synth-pop was confirmed with the EP I Am Digital, I Am Divine in 2025, driven by tracks such as "Silver Spoon" and "Marble Arch," and continued with Pareidolia in 2026, where she extended a restrained, introspective electronic aesthetic.
