Info
On May 26, 2027, at History in Toronto, Carly Rae Jepsen brings her Day and Night Tour, a live set built around her knack for turning sharp songwriting into sleek, emotional pop. From the folk-leaning beginnings of Tug of War to the full pop pivot of Kiss, her shows trace the same arc: bright hooks, 80s-tinged synth textures, and that mix of light vocals with a more bittersweet edge that’s defined her run from Emotion through Dedicated and its Side B. With The Loneliest Time and The Loveliest Time adding disco touches, soft rock turns, and dance-pop momentum, expect a set that moves fast but leaves room for the details.
Opening the night, Sarah Kinsley brings her art-pop world to the stage, shaped by piano and violin and a strong DIY approach. Her songs slide between intimate moments and bigger builds, with lush arrangements and electronic textures that feel both precise and restless. From the EPs The King, Cypress, and Ascension to her 2024 album Escaper, she’s been honing a sound that’s melodic, slightly experimental, and made to shift in the room.
